We love Franklin, Tennessee and 100% agree with anyone that puts it on their lists as one of the best small towns in America.
During Christmastime one year, we decided to take a nighttime, candlelit tour of the civil war houses in town (Carnton Plantation, Lotz House, and Carter House).
When traveling from the plantation to the Lotz House, we noticed the Country Charm Mall and said that we needed to come back to check it out during the daytime; we are definitely glad that we did.
Since 1987, the same family has run this off the beaten path, hidden treasure of antiques and collectibles.
Like walking into grandma and grandpa’s house, the main building is lined wall-to-wall with all things vintage, from kitchen items, to clocks, furniture, quilts, décor, books, tools, and classic Coca-Cola merchandise.
We personally have found several great pieces in the main shop, including two old school glass milk bottles that we have used as decorations in our dining room.
If the fun ended with the main house, this would still be one of our favorite stops to visit; but it doesn’t end there!
Outside, there are two additional buildings.
One of which contains iron, tin, and other metal items including garden and yard décor, patio furniture, and more.
The other, full of gothic styled church windows and wooden window panes; the latter which we have our eyes on for décor in our living room.
The customer service is top-notch and you always feel welcomed from the moment that you step inside the front door.
The prices are very fare and competitive with the marketplace, which makes the Country Charm Mall a one-stop shop with a little bit of everything to give your home a country chic feel.
Fun Fact – Visit often, but always make sure that you also take a trip around the holiday season and check out their unique collection of decorations that will bring you back to when you were a child.
