Man Catching Chicken

Much to my husband’s horror, my oldest daughter likes to call this Man Catching Chicken. She named it as such due to the fact that she cooked this for a boy who was a friend of hers while he was visiting our house with his parents one Saturday. After that weekend, the boy who was a friend, became the boyfriend of 2 years. She credits everything to the chicken. Ah, young love!

What you’ll need:

8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 package of bacon (mmmm, bacon)
BBQ sauce, we like Sweet Baby Ray’s brand in our family
Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Salt & Pepper

How to get your cooking on:

Lightly grease you pan to help avoid stickage
Salt and Pepper each chicken breast, pounding down any that are particularly thick to make for more even cooking
Spread bbq sauce on each piece of chicken
Wrap each piece in bacon, we usually do 2 pieces of bacon of each piece of chicken
Cook at 400 degrees for 30 minutes
Remove from stove and top with cheese
Cook an addition 15 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through
